OUR STORY
For me, being a filmmaker is like being a servant, meaning putting others above yourself. It involves sitting for hours to figure out the next shot or waking up early just to capture the perfect sunrise then staying late to see the perfect sunset. To be a filmmaker is a calling and a privilege. We are trusted to capture the story of a certain event or person that the world may never have known existed. Filming to me is more than a dream - it's a mandate from God, a calling to stewardship. To me, filming is being the lens of God's many cameras, the one He utilizes to express the spoken artwork of His heart. Filming is a responsibility, a sense of accountability to the vision placed there by the ultimate visionary: God. We are trusted to capture glimpses of this beautiful world, and other elements that should be used to inspire humanity. Filmmakers are the type of people that fight for the love of their craft, and never pride, envy, greed, or a since of unrighteous anger or hatred. Filmmakers may never receive any glory for themselves, but they continue to shoot and cue because it's what they are called to do. To sum it all up: I enjoy the art filmmaking, and it is what I believe God created me to do.
